I am innately a builder. I’ve always found both peace and excitement in creating things that don’t yet exist.

I stay curious every day and believe that decisions shape the future yet decision-making remains one of life’s most overlooked disciplines.

That became the genesis for DDL, to help democratise decision science!

BackStory

Throughout my career in high-growth luxury hospitality, entertainment conglomerates, and technology ventures, I have witnessed leaders grappling with uncertainty, biases, and strategic dilemmas.

Despite access to vast data, sophisticated dashboards, and expert advice, one silent question seemed to echo in every boardroom:

“Am I seeing this clearly?”

This question sparked a deeper intellectual pursuit.

Over time, I identified a profound gap: while tools for collaboration, productivity, and analysis are based on external inputs, there were few or none dedicated to internal conflicts. That became the point of building AI based SelfSignal and Signal Conflict Audit framework.

Further more another learning for me comes from idea of how do we maintain sovereignty in the age of algorithms. This question gave rise to the concept of the Decision Economy, "a conviction that every choice we make draws upon finite reserves of mental energy, emotional resilience, and moral courage."

In a world shaped by recommendations and algorithmic, I see an urgency of empowering individuals to design and own our decisions as valuable personal assets.

Build Decision Economy as a new discipline within decision science. Evolving it from a system to a practice and co-lead research in collaboration with an academic institution.

Develop Dee & Sig, from a comic to an animated series on Insta and Snap. Mid-term expansion into merchandise with the Intellectual-You brand positioning.

Outsource a full-time project to enrich our game-based decision simulation sandbox, SelfSim (working title).

Make Decision Design Lab not only a business venture, but as a movement to democratise decision science and reflection habit.
